1st - 2nd Grade Classes
Broadway Kids
​Offered: Fall 2024 and Winter 2025; Tuesdays OR Thursdays
Fee: $200/per semester
Class Description:
Welcome to Broadway Kids, an enriching program tailored for 1st and 2nd graders! Our aim is to foster a passion for theatre while nurturing confidence in public speaking and strengthening concentration and memorization skills. Through a variety of engaging theatre games and activities, students will develop essential abilities such as listening, following directions, memorizing lines, and understanding stage cues and placements. Each week promises a delightful blend of imagination, storytelling, music, dance, and interactive games, ensuring an experience filled with excitement and joy. Together, we'll collaborate to craft a captivating skit, culminating in a special showcase for family and friends on the final day of class. Join us as we embark on a journey of creativity and self-discovery!
Please note: The Winter Semester offers fresh content, ensuring students can enjoy both semesters without repeating material.

**Students who participate in the Fall 2024 and/or Winter 2025 School of Theatre classes are invited to audition for the 2025 Spring School of Theatre Productions, and will be eligible for a role based on availability. Receiving a role is not guaranteed**
